• Lincoln-Way Central motors past Barrington (dailyherald.com) — Barrington High School's Broncos fell 28–14 at home to Lincoln-Way Central, despite a big second-half surge led by backup quarterback Tyler Logan and running back Vince Costa. The nonconference matchup, played Friday night in Barrington, saw the visitors jump to a 21–0 lead before Barrington closed the gap to one score. A late Knights touchdown and defensive stand sealed the Broncos' 0–2 start.
