• WATCH: Strong winds, possible tornado scatter damage across suburban Bartlett (nbcchicago.com) — Severe storms brought strong winds and a possible tornado to Bartlett on Thursday, damaging a strip mall and knocking over gas pumps near Route 59 and West Stearns Road but causing no reported injuries. Mayor Dan Gunsteen says crews are assessing damage, working with ComEd to restore power, and urging residents to avoid downed lines, damaged areas, and unnecessary travel.
   

• Suspects In Custody After Armed Carjacking Incident In Elgin (foxvalleymagazine.com) — Bartlett police briefly chased a carjacked vehicle that originated in Elgin after an armed robbery left a woman without her car but physically unharmed. The suspects, both from Elgin, were later stopped in Chicago and now face multiple felony charges, while Bartlett’s role centered on spotting and attempting to stop the fleeing vehicle along U.S. 20.
