2 Hurt In Plane Crash At Park In Will County: Authorities

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A small plane crashed Tuesday evening at a park in Bolingbrook, according to authorities.

Emergency personnel responded around 6:30 p.m. to reports of the crash at Indian Chase Meadows Park along Pheasant Chase Drive, authorities said.

There were two occupants on board and both were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in stable condition, according to the Bolingbrook Fire Department.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board were notified and will be conducting an investigation into the cause of the incident, authorities said.

"Please avoid the area of the park while emergency crews remain on-site," the fire department said Tuesday evening in a social media post.
