From hayrides and a mini corn maze to inflatables, archery, and local market booths, the afternoon event offers a wide range of activities and giveaways at no cost. 
• Bolingbrook Man Hit Another Driver, Stole Items During Road Rage Incident: Police (patch.com) — Bolingbrook police report that a man allegedly struck another driver and took items from his vehicle during a road-rage confrontation at Boughton and Weber roads. Officers say the suspect later met with police and was taken into custody, and he now faces robbery, aggravated battery, and traffic-related charges.
• Man in fatal Fox River boat crash now charged with murder, allegedly had cocaine, pot in system (shawlocal.com) — A Lisle man formerly employed by Bolingbrook-based Stevenson Crane now faces a first-degree murder charge after a high-speed boat crash on the Fox River that killed a Des Plaines woman. Prosecutors say he was intoxicated and had cocaine and marijuana in his system, while the victim's family has launched a wrongful death lawsuit and previously raised funds in her memory.
