• IKEA relocating Bolingbrook store to Naperville, company says (cbsnews.com) — IKEA plans to move its Bolingbrook store to a smaller-format location in Naperville in late 2027, but promises to keep the current Bolingbrook store open until then. The new site, about eight miles away near Block 59, is meant to better serve the broader Bolingbrook–Naperville corridor while still staying convenient for existing local customers.
   

• Manley Hosts Public Transit Field Trip for Seniors (ilhousedems.com) — Bolingbrook seniors recently joined State Rep. Natalie Manley for a hands-on "Transit 101" trip from the Canterbury Park-N-Ride, learning how to use Pace, CTA, and Metra to reach downtown Chicago. The outing highlighted free and reduced-fare options for older adults and riders with disabilities, and Manley's office is planning another Bolingbrook-based session this fall for interested residents.
   

• Friday Night Highlights: OSU QB Commit Carson White Throws for 100, Runs for 100 Again (pistolsfiringblog.com) — Bolingbrook football fans can celebrate as running back TJ Lewis helped the Raiders notch their sixth straight win with a 42-0 shutout of Joliet Central. The team, now 6-1, hosts another strong opponent, Plainfield North, this week, giving local supporters a big home matchup to watch as the regular season heats up.
