• County is on board for funding Visit Kankakee County (shawlocal.com) — Bourbonnais leaders are being asked to approve a new three-year funding agreement that helps support tourism marketing across Kankakee County through Visit Kankakee County. The county board and city of Kankakee have already signed on, while Bourbonnais and Manteno still need to vote on contributing a base amount plus hotel-based fees that would boost regional visitor spending.
