• $850K to repairs some Bradley government building roofs and mechanicals (shawlocal.com) — Three key Bradley government buildings, including the administrative building and Bradley Community Center, will soon get new roofs and rooftop mechanical systems after the March 10 hailstorm. About $852,000 in work, fully covered by village insurance, is expected to begin this summer and take roughly six weeks, with additional storm-damage claims for other village properties still pending. 
• Bradley Boulevard set for $3.5M streetscape project (shawlocal.com) — Bradley Boulevard is getting a $3.51 million makeover this year, adding new 8-foot walking and biking paths, landscaping, and lighting between Armour Road and East North Street. Funded largely by a state Main Street grant, the first phase of a larger five-mile streetscape plan should start by mid-July and wrap up by year’s end, reshaping how residents move along the village’s main corridor.
