• Illinois Woman Pleads Guilty In Pennsylvania For Role In Dark Online Monkey Torture Ring (tampafp.com) — A 33-year-old Catlin resident has pleaded guilty in federal court in Pennsylvania to two conspiracy charges tied to funding and sharing graphic online animal torture videos. Investigators say she sent multiple payments, distributed the clips, and helped archive them. She now faces a potential multi-year prison sentence and a large fine, with sentencing set for late August 2026.
