Catalytic Converters Stolen From Over 30 School Buses: Reports
The company was bringing in extra buses to cover routes, according to WLS.
CHICAGO — Catalytic converters were stolen from more than 30 school buses at a Chicago facility, according to reports.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 4100 block of West Chicago Avenue, police said. The 33 buses were found to be damaged and detectives were investigating, according to police.
NBC Chicago reported the catalytic converters were stolen off the buses, which were at a First Student Inc. facility, according to WLS. The company was bringing in extra buses to cover routes, WLS reported.
