More Measles Exposures Tied To Chicago Union Station, Hotel (patch.com) — Chicago health officials are warning about several recent measles exposure windows at Union Station and a SpringHill Suites hotel in the city, urging anyone who was there at the listed times to monitor for symptoms. Residents, especially those unvaccinated or unsure of their MMR status, are encouraged to review vaccination guidance as national measles cases rise sharply.
   

3. Obama Presidential Center's price tag: Almost $1 billion (suntimes.com) — Chicago's Obama Presidential Center has now been pegged at $909 million to build, all privately funded, with another $123 million in public infrastructure around the site. In its first 100 days, the South Side campus has drawn hundreds of thousands of visitors, boosted a busy Chicago Public Library branch, and even supplied produce to the Hyde Park-Kenwood Food Pantry.
   

4. Treasurer Michael Frerichs Honors Community Leaders in Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (riverbender.com) — In downtown Chicago, State Treasurer Michael Frerichs honored nine Latino community leaders as part of a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at 555 W. Monroe. The recognition highlighted Chicago-connected figures from education, labor, the arts, business, and sports, including a local high school principal, the Cubs' Spanish-language announcer, and leaders tied to the National Museum of Mexican Art and Chicago's hospitality workers union.
