• Woman, 22, dies after shot in Little Village (suntimes.com) — A 22-year-old woman died after being shot Saturday night while standing on the 2800 block of West 23rd Street in Little Village, according to Chicago police. She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the armpit and later died, and Area 4 detectives are now investigating the killing.
