Teen Identified In Apparent University Park Homicide
Ryan Jenkins, 18, was pronounced dead Thursday night. University Park police and a major crimes task force are investigating.
UNIVERSITY PARK, IL — An 18-year-old University Park man died Thursday night in an apparent homicide, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.
Ryan Jenkins was pronounced dead at 9:17 p.m. in the 24000 block of South Governors Highway in University Park, Coroner Laurie H. Summers said.
An autopsy was performed Friday. Jenkins' final cause and manner of death will be determined after autopsy findings, police reports and toxicology results are reviewed.

The University Park Police Department and the Will/Grundy Major Crimes Task Force are investigating.
Authorities did not release additional details about the circumstances surrounding Jenkins' death or identify any suspects.
