• Crest Hill Woman Who Poked His Stomach With Kitchen Knife Pleads Guilty, Learns Her Sentence (patch.com) — A Crest Hill woman has been sentenced to two years of probation after pleading guilty to a domestic battery charge stemming from a January incident at her Huron Street home. Prosecutors said she pressed a kitchen knife into a man’s stomach during an argument, though he was not injured. Her sentence includes counseling, evaluations, parenting classes, and significant court and probation fees.
