McHenry County Jail To Be Featured In TV Series
Crews filmed inside the Woodstock jail for four episodes of the upcoming season of "JAIL," which begins streaming Oct. 1.
WOODSTOCK, IL — The McHenry County Jail and the corrections officers who work there will be featured in the upcoming season of a television series that gives viewers a look at what happens after an arrest.
The McHenry County Sheriff's Office was selected to participate in the seventh season of "JAIL," a series that follows corrections officers and deputies as they process and supervise people taken into custody.
Production crews filmed inside the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, and footage from the facility will appear in four episodes during the upcoming season, according to the sheriff's office.

"This was an opportunity to give viewers a look inside the jail and at the work our corrections staff does every day," Sheriff Robb Tadelman said. "I'm proud of the professionalism and dedication they bring to a job that most people never see."
Season 7 begins streaming Thursday on Roku, Prime Video, Sony PlayStation and VIZIO.
