• Danville School District Asks City of Danville and Village of Tilton to Return a Share of TIF Revenues to Local Schools. (vermilioncountyfirst.com) — Danville District 118 is urging the City of Danville and Village of Tilton to share back a portion of TIF property tax revenues to support local classrooms, staff, and student services. District leaders stress they are not seeking new taxes, but want some diverted funds returned to bolster safety, academics, special education, and facilities for Danville and Tilton students.
