The 12- or 16-week course offers college credit, key safety certifications, and direct connections to local unions and apprenticeships, highlighted by a Danville High School graduate now entering an IBEW electrician apprenticeship.
   

2. Man sentenced to 11 years in prison for 2025 Vermilion Co. burglaries (wcia.com) — A Westville man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison after pleading guilty to two 2025 burglaries, including one at a business on Henning Road in Danville. Prosecutors linked him to both crime scenes using surveillance footage and a red pickup truck, and officials say the sentence is meant to deter repeat offenders in Vermilion County.
