• Darien Woman Charged With Domestic Battery, Taken To County Jail (patch.com) — Darien police report that a 37-year-old woman from the 7100 block of High Road was arrested at her home on a domestic battery charge and taken to DuPage County Jail. In a separate incident, a 46-year-old Darien man from Brookdale Drive was stopped on Plainfield Road and charged with driving on a revoked license, driving uninsured, and was also held on a Cook County warrant.
   

• Darien Seeks $600K For Flood-Ravaged Neighborhood (patch.com) — Darien officials are pursuing $600,000 in federal block grant funding to tackle chronic flooding on the 7600–7900 blocks of Gail and Linden avenues near Cass Avenue and Plainfield Road. The city will present its flood mitigation proposal, including new drainage and possible detention, at a public hearing Monday evening at City Hall, where residents can attend or submit written comments by email.
