Sands (22nd Street) Viaduct Thursday evening after an FBI tip about a bomb threat, using drones and in-person checks before safely reopening it. Detectives soon identified and arrested a Decatur woman, who now faces charges of making and falsely making a terrorist threat, with the case headed through Macon County Jail.

5. Woman charged with threatening to blow up Decatur bridge (herald-review.com) — Police say a Decatur woman has been charged after allegedly calling in a bomb threat against the William B. Sands Viaduct, a serious incident for anyone who regularly uses that bridge. The update comes alongside notes on Decatur's 9/11 memorial events, local high school football playoff prospects, and new business growth in nearby Forsyth.
