Cocaine, Fentanyl, Ketamine Charges: Lake County Sheriff Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and arrests made by police. An arrest is not a finding of guilt.

ARRESTS

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

Nestor Fuentes, 42, of Waukegan, was arrested June 29, near Route 137 and Wooddale Lane in Libertyville, and charged with driving while license revoked. He was granted pretrial release and assigned to branch court.

FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEXUAL OFFENDER

Michael Malombo, 45, of Beach Park, was arrested June 30, in the 38500 block of North Green Bay Road in Beach Park, after a warrant was obtained for failure to register as a sexual offender. Detention and court information were listed as to be determined.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO GOVERNMENT SUPPORTED PROPERTY

Jonathan A. Paget, 52, of Highland Park, was arrested June 30, in the 0-100 block of County Street in Waukegan, and charged with criminal damage to government supported property. He was granted pretrial release and assigned a July 28 court date.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Oscar Reyes Vargas, 24, of Beach Park, was arrested June 30, near Green Bay and Yorkhouse roads in Beach Park, and charged with DUI-alcohol. He was granted pretrial release and assigned an Aug. 12 court date.
• Eduiwn Colmenarez Carmona, 42, of Chicago, was arrested July 4, in the 200 block of North Lake Street in Mundelein, and charged with DUI-alcohol and driving while license suspended. He was granted pretrial release and assigned an Aug. 26 court date.
• Jennifer Lynn Beese, 44, of Antioch, was arrested July 4, near Route 173 and Parkview Drive in unincorporated Antioch, and charged with aggravated DUI, driving while license revoked and no insurance. She was granted pretrial release and assigned a July 10 court date.

WARRANT ARREST

• Sharmaria C. Sparkman, 36, of Chicago, was arrested June 30, near routes 59 and 173 in Antioch, on a Cook County robbery warrant. Detention and court information were listed as to be determined in Cook County.
• Jamey C. Estep, 40, of Tomah, Wisconsin, was arrested July 3, in the 11400 block of West Edgewood Road in Beach Park, on a retail theft warrant. Estep was granted pretrial release and assigned a July 14 court date.
• Brian A. Brandlan, 51, of unincorporated Antioch, was arrested July 4, near Route 173 and Parkview Drive in unincorporated Antioch, on DUI warrants from McHenry and Cook counties. Detention and court information were listed as to be determined in those counties.
• Debbie D. Adams, 44, who has no permanent address, was arrested July 4, in the 0-100 block of Lake Front Drive in unincorporated Zion, on a warrant for aggravated battery to a peace officer. Adams was detained in the Lake County Jail and assigned a July 16 court date.
• Cory M. Krak, 47, of unincorporated Spring Grove, was arrested July 5, in the 37800 block of North Watts Avenue in unincorporated Spring Grove, on a theft warrant. Krak was granted pretrial release and assigned a July 8 court date.

DRUG CHARGES

• Jason Briggs, 54, of unincorporated Antioch, was arrested June 30, in the 40200 block of North Dell Drive in unincorporated Antioch, and charged with unlawful distribution of cocaine and unlawful possession of cocaine. He was granted pretrial release and assigned a July 28 court date.
• Paul A. Alston, 38, of North Chicago, was arrested June 30, in the 1800 block of Elizabeth Avenue in North Chicago, and charged with unlawful distribution of cocaine/fentanyl, unlawful distribution of ketamine, and unlawful possession of cocaine/fentanyl/ketamine. He was detained in the Lake County Jail and assigned a July 7 court date.

RETAIL THEFT WARRANT

Yousuf Abdullah, 48, of Morton Grove, was arrested July 1, in the 2700 block of Lake Cook Road in Long Grove, after a warrant was obtained for retail theft. Detention and court information were listed as to be determined.

FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A VIOLENT OFFENDER

Ronaldo Uribe, 28, of unincorporated Lake Villa, was arrested July 2, in the 36400 block of North Westmoor Drive in unincorporated Lake Villa, and charged with failure to register as a violent offender. Uribe was granted pretrial release and assigned an Aug. 5 court date.

ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT WARRANT

Emilia Aytes, 20, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was arrested July 2, in the 33500 block of North Mill Road in unincorporated Grayslake, after a warrant was obtained for electronic harassment. Detention and court information were listed as to be determined.

AGGRAVATED DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Brian M. Colangelo, 64, of unincorporated Antioch, was arrested July 2, in the 26500 block of West Sycamore Avenue in unincorporated Antioch, and charged with aggravated domestic battery, battery, DUI, leaving the scene of a crash and no insurance. Colangelo was detained in the Lake County Jail and assigned a July 28 court date.
• Brian D. Soriano, 27, of unincorporated Lake Bluff, was arrested July 4, in the 200 block of Central Skokie Road in unincorporated Lake Bluff, and charged with aggravated domestic battery. Soriano was detained in the Lake County Jail and assigned a July 9 court date.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO MOTOR VEHICLE

• Marveil M. Mitchell, 18, of unincorporated Zion, was arrested July 3, in the 9800 block of West 17th Street in unincorporated Zion, and charged with criminal trespass to motor vehicle. Mitchell was granted pretrial release and assigned an Aug. 5 court date.
• Jeremy B. Rushing, 20, of unincorporated Zion, was arrested July 3, in the 9800 block of West 17th Street in unincorporated Zion, and charged with criminal trespass to motor vehicle. Rushing was granted pretrial release and assigned an Aug. 5 court date.

NO DRIVER’S LICENSE

Jose D. Munoz-Brizuela, 25, of Mundelein, was arrested July 3, near Green Bay and Wadsworth roads in Beach Park, and charged with no driver’s license and suspended registration. He was granted pretrial release and assigned to branch court.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO PEACE OFFICER

Ana K. Franco, 27, of Winthrop Harbor, was arrested July 4, in the 500 block of Richard Brown Boulevard in Volo, and charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer. Franco was granted pretrial release and assigned a July 28 court date.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Bruce E. Sartin, 41, of unincorporated Zion, was arrested July 4, in the 42200 block of North Broecker Avenue in unincorporated Zion, and charged with domestic battery. Sartin was granted pretrial release and assigned a July 23 court date.
