Elder Exploitation, Money Laundering Warrant In Lake County Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

DUI

• Sophia C. Brau, 22, of Elgin, was arrested June 23 near Route 12 and Deerpath Road in Lake Zurich and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and transportation of open alcohol. Brau was released ahead of a July 15 court date.
• Kayla Weiss, 39, of unincorporated Zion, was arrested June 25 near 14800 block of Russell Road in unincorporated Zion and charged with DUI and driving without insurance. Detention information was listed as “TBD Wisconsin.”
• Lillian A. Meeks, 28, of Ingleside, was arrested June 25 near Route 12 and Brandenburg Road in Volo and charged with DUI-alcohol and driving without insurance. Meeks was released ahead of a July 27 court date.
• Taylor D. Wilson, 29, of Round Lake, was arrested June 27 near Route 120 and O’Plaine Road in Grayslake and charged with DUI-alcohol, open transportation of alcohol and DUI. Wilson was released ahead of a July 22 court date.

Warrant Arrests

• Harold A. Boyle, 53, of no permanent address, was arrested June 24 near 35600 block of North Wilson Road in unincorporated Round Lake and charged on a warrant for unspecified financial exploitation of an elderly person, theft, money laundering and unlawful possession of fraudulent identification cards. Detention and court information were listed as “TBD.”
• Jesse O. Hedden, 60, of Waukegan, was arrested June 24 near 300 block of Washington Street in Waukegan and charged on a warrant for failing to register as a sexual offender. Hedden was released ahead of a July 22 court date.
• Bernard T. Mullica, 43, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was arrested June 24 near 800 block of South Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville and charged on a warrant for sexual battery out of Marion County, Indiana. Detention and court information were listed as “TBD Marion County, IN.”
• Robin L. Rogers, 37, of Rockford, was arrested June 25 near 0-100 block of North County Street in Waukegan and charged on a warrant for failure to appear in DuPage County. Detention and court information were listed as “TBD DuPage County.”
• Miguel A. Ochoa, 25, of Waukegan, was arrested June 28 near 38400 block of North Sheridan Road in Beach Park and charged with criminal trespass to property, disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest. Ochoa was released ahead of a July 15 court date.
• Jason R. Bryan, 44, of Wauconda, was arrested June 28 near 41400 block of Route 41 in unincorporated Wauconda and charged on a warrant for aggravated domestic battery. Bryan was detained in Lake County Jail ahead of a June 30 court date.
• Brandon L. Terronez Gomez, 27, of Waukegan, was arrested June 28 near Route 45 and Casey Road in unincorporated Grayslake and charged on a warrant for a traffic offense out of Kane County. Gomez’s detention and court information were listed as “TBD Kane County.”
• Jacqueline N. Fees, 34, of unincorporated Antioch, was arrested June 27 near 41100 block of North Prairie Avenue in unincorporated Antioch and charged on a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Fees was detained in Lake County Jail ahead of a July 8 court date.

Driving While License Suspended Or Revoked

• Lance M. Russo, 58, of Bolingbrook, was arrested June 26 near Routes 45 and 132 in unincorporated Gurnee and charged with driving while license suspended, no registration and no insurance. Russo was released ahead of a court date in Branch Court.
• Jesse Diaz, 20, of Waukegan, was arrested June 26 near Routes 41 and 60 in unincorporated Gurnee and charged with driving while license suspended. Diaz was released ahead of a court date in Branch Court.
• Wendy Trujillo, 27, of Round Lake, was arrested June 27 near Cedar Lake Road and Rollins Road in Round Lake Beach and charged with driving while license revoked. Trujillo was released ahead of a court date in Branch Court.

Traffic-Related Charges

• Torry Jones, 38, of Waukegan, was arrested June 25 near Grand Avenue and Adelphi Street in Waukegan and charged with reckless driving, obstructing a peace officer and driving without insurance. Jones was released ahead of a July 16 court date.
• Luis A. Gonzalez, 37, of Park City, was arrested June 26 near Route 94 and Route 60 in Mettawa and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding. Gonzalez was released ahead of a court date in Branch Court.
• Brandon J. Flores, 23, of Waukegan, was arrested June 26 near Green Bay Road and Wadsworth Road in Beach Park and charged with reckless driving, aggravated speeding and driving 88 mph in a 45 mph zone. Flores was released ahead of a court date in Branch Court.
• Sonia A. Riezins, 52, of unincorporated Mundelein, was arrested June 26 near 26500 block of Route 83 in unincorporated Mundelein and charged with battery. Riezins was released ahead of a July 20 court date.
• Franklin A. Dietz, 25, of Round Lake Beach, was arrested June 28 near 25000 block of West Edgar Avenue in unincorporated Antioch and charged with battery. Dietz was released ahead of an Aug. 12 court date.

Domestic Battery

Cory McGovern, 77, of unincorporated Wauconda, was arrested June 27 near 25300 block of West Ivanhoe Road in unincorporated Wauconda and charged with domestic battery. McGovern was released ahead of a court date listed for 9 a.m. June 29.

Ordinance Violation

Brian Sanchez, 30, of unincorporated Waukegan, was arrested June 26 near Route 45 and Casey Road in unincorporated Grayslake and charged with operating an overweight truck. Sanchez was released ahead of a court date in Branch Court.
