Man Accused Of Battering Correctional Officer: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

The incident involving a 31-year-old Waukegan resident occurred at the Lake County Jail.

Timothy C. Obryant, 22, of the 800 block of Baldwin Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant for driving without a license, and was arrested March 2 in the 200 block of W. Water Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of March 13.

  • Henry S. Parisotto, 21, of the 600 block of Smith Avenue, unincorporated Lake Bluff, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested March 2. He was being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and a court date of March 26 was assigned.
  • Micaila L. Kline, 22, of the 34100 block of N. Wineberry Lane, unincorporated Round Lake, had a warrant for violating an order of protection, and was arrested March 2. She was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and a court date of April 1 was assigned.
  • Adrian Rivera, 42, of the 2600 block of 20th Street, Zion, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested March 8 in the 20400 block of W. Crissy Avenue, Beach Park. He was being detained in the McHenry County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of April 15.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

  • Orlando V. Mollejas-Munoz, 24, of the 4700 block of Arbor Drive, Rolling Meadows, is accused of driving while license suspended, having a suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested March 2 at Route 132 and Sand Lake Road, Lindenhurst. He was released following his arrest.
  • David Gutierrez-Picasso, 45, of the 4800 block of 22nd Place, Cicero, is accused of driving while license suspended, illegally passing a loading school bus, and was arrested March 5 at Route 59 and Miller Road, Barrington. He was released following his arrest.
  • Jose G. Solis, 44, of Rock Rapids, Iowa, is accused of driving while license revoked, leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested March 5 in the 26200 block of W. Springwell Avenue, unincorporated Antioch. He was released following his arrest.
  • Mario Chairez, 56, of the 0-100 block of Minoske Drive, Lake Zurich, is accused of driving while license suspended, suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested March 5 at Route 120 and Mill Road, unincorporated Grayslake. He was released following his arrest.
  • Fernando Rivera, 36, of the 38200 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for DUI, and was arrested March 8 in the 38200 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park.

FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEXUAL OFFENDER

Tremaine D. Towns, 35, of the 700 block of N. Linden Lane, Waukegan, had a warrant for failure to register as a sexual offender, and was arrested March 3 in the 200 block of Water Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of April 1.

RETAIL THEFT

Omar Lopez, 30, of the 0-100 block of Archer Avenue, Mundelein, had a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested March 3 at Delany Road and Adams Street, Wadsworth. He was released and assigned a court date of April 15.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO A CORRECTIONAL OFFICER

Anthony L. Cook, 31, of the 600 block of Genesee Street, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated battery to a correctional officer, and was arrested March 4 at the Lake County Jail. He was being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of April 1.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Kenneth P. Wendt, 35, of the 14000 block of Kilpatrick Avenue, Crestwood, had a warrant for aggravated driving under the influence, and was arrested March 4 in the 0-100 block of N. County Street. Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of April 6.
  • James E. Drennan, 39, of the 0-100 block of Huntcliff Court, Fox River Grove, had a warrant out of McHenry County for DUI, and was arrested March 6 in the 0-100 block of Huntcliff Court, Fox River Grove. A future court date in McHenry County was to be determined at the time of the report.
  • James A. McBride, 30, of the 2500 block of Chestnut Street, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated DUI, aggravated speeding, no insurance, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested March 6 in the 38900 block of N. Green Bay Road, Beach Park. A future court date in McHenry County was to be determined at the time of the report.
  • Denis J. Herrera Sires, 20, of the 500 block of Carolina Place, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, aggravated speeding, driving while license suspended, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested March 6 at Lewis Avenue and Yorkhouse Road, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of April 8.
  • Jessica A. De Niz, 32, of the 600 block of N. County Street, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested March 7 in the 36300 block of N. Skokie Highway, unincorporated Gurnee. She was released and assigned a court date of April 22.
  • Kyla M. Harris, 27, of the 200 block of Green Bay Road, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested March 7 at Lewis Avenue and Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. She was released and assigned a court date of April 8.
  • Jose M. Pineda Pacas, 27, of the 400 block of N. Oakwood Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, leaving the scene of a crash, no insurance, improper transportation of cannabis, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested March 8 at North Avenue and Marc Court, Beach Park. He was released following his arrest and assigned a court date of April 15.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

  • Ernesto Amezola, 42, of the 39100 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of disorderly conduct, criminal trespass to property, and was arrested March 4 in the 39100 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of March 26.
  • Richard C. Nowak, Jr., 55, of Verona, Wisconsin, is accused of disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to property, possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested March 6 in the 38700 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of April 29.

BURGLARY

Josha P. Hayhurst, 22, of the 31200 block of Route 45, unincorporated Grayslake, had a warrant for burglary, and was arrested March 5 in the 31200 block of Route 45, unincorporated Grayslake. He was released and assigned a court date of March 31.

ATTEMPTED POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Osiel Umanozor-Umanzor, 33, of the 2900 block of 31st Street, Zion, is accused of no driver's license, attempted possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested March 5 at 33rd Street and Lewis Avenue, Zion. He was released and assigned a court date of March 25.

CHILD ENDANGERMENT

Jonathan M. Mez, 30, of the 2800 block of Ridge Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant out of McHenry County for child endangerment, and was arrested March 6 at Routes 137 and 21, Libertyville. A future court date in McHenry County was to be determined at the time of the report.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY

John A. Schmidt, 38, of the 1400 block of N. Smith Street, Palatine, had a warrant for possession of stolen property, and was arrested March 7 at Route 59 and Cook Road, Barrington. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of March 25.

OBSTRUCTING A PEACE OFFICER

Christofer D. Lopez, 20, of the 1000 block of Indiana Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of obstructing a peace officer, and was arrested March 8 at North Avenue and Marc Court, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of April 8.
