Multiple Meth Warrant Busts Made: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

ARRESTS

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Karla J. Villaneuva, 28, of the 38200 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of driving while license suspended, suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested April 20 at Chestnut Street and Yorkhouse Road, Beach Park. She was released and assigned a court date of May 13.

AGGRAVATED SPEEDING

Alex J. Miranda, 20, of the 1100 block of Mary Jane Lane, Zion, is accused of aggravated speeding (86 mph in a 40 mph zone), reckless driving, and was arrested April 21 at 33rd Street and N. McAree Road, Beach Park. He was released following his arrest.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Eduardo Cortes-Mendoza, 35, of the 25500 block of W. Foxtail Road, unincorporated Round Lake, had a warrant out of Cook County for driving under the influence, and was arrested April 22 in the 200 block of Water Street, Waukegan. A future court date in Cook County was to be determined at the time of the report.
• Kailynn V. Kilpatrick, 18, of the 29600 block of N. Waukegan Road, unincorporated Lake Bluff, is accused of DUI alcohol, improper transportation of cannabis, unlawful possession of a false ID, and was arrested April 23 in the 36400 block of N. Ridge Road, Ingleside. She was released and assigned a court date of May 20.
• Martha Ojeda Antinio, 49, of the 500 block of Love Drive, Prospect Heights, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested April 23 at I-94 and Route 21, unincorporated Gurnee. She was released and assigned a court date of June 3. RoFrancisco J. Zamora Ruiz, 46, of the 38400 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested April 23 in th Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of May 20.
• Ariel G. Soberanes, 26, of the 2900 block of 27th Street, Zion, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, unlawful possession of firearm ammo, and was arrested April 24 at Lewis Avenue and Beach Road, Beach Park. She was released and assigned a court date of May 20.
• China D. Jackson-Taylor, 28, of the 4100 block of Barberry Lane, Zion, had a warrant for DUI, and was arrested April 25 at Route 173 and Lorelei Drive, Zion. She was released and assigned a court date of May 8.
• Apolinar Castilo, 46, of Humble, Texas, is accused of DUI alcohol, reckless driving, aggravated speeding, no insurance, and was arrested April 25 at Route 45 and Rollins Road, unincorporated Grayslake. He was released and assigned a court date of May 20.

ASSAULT

Connor P. Beaton, 24, of the 2600 block of N. Windsor Drive, Arlington Heights, had a warrant out of McHenry County for assault, and was arrested April 22 in the 2400 block of Belvidere Road, Waukegan. A future court date in McHenry County was to be determined at the time of the report.

WARRANT ARREST

Dawn C. Humphrey, 54, of the 34400 block of N. Goldenrod Court, unincorporated Round Lake, had a warrant out of DuPage County, and was arrested April 23. A future court date in DuPage County was to be determined at the time of the report.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A FELON

Matthew S. Francis, 32, of the 12600 block of W. Blanchard Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and was arrested April 24. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of May 6.

POSSESSION OF METH

• Malik D. Iseini, 47, of the 12700 block of W. Keith Avenue, unincorporated Waukegan, had a warrant for possession of meth, and was arrested April 24 at Wadsworth Road and Evergreen Avenue, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of May 26.
• Carlos P. Rosario, Jr., 52, of the 2600 block of Horeb Avenue, Zion, had a warrant out of McHenry County for possession of meth, and was arrested April 24 at Wadsworth Road and Evergreen Avenue, Beach Park. A future court date in McHenry County was to be determined at the time of the report.

RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

Graciela J. Barajas, 24, of the 400 block of Ravine Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of domestic battery, resisting a peace officer, disorderly conduct, and was arrested April 25 at Chicago and North avenues, Beach Park. She was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of May 1.
