Sex Assault, Strangulation Charges: Lake County Arrests

LAKE COUNTY, IL — A man charged with criminal sexual assault and domestic battery and another accused of aggravated domestic battery by strangulation are among the latest arrests reported by the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

The following information comes from Lake County Sheriff's Office reports. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Criminal Sexual Assault, Domestic Battery

Jesus E. Guillen-Gutierrez, 33, of unincorporated Antioch, was arrested Sept. 16 in the 39800 block of North Crabapple Drive and charged with criminal sexual assault and domestic battery.

He was detained in the Lake County Jail and given an Oct. 13 court date.

Aggravated Domestic Battery, Strangulation

Leobardo Garcia Quiahua, 41, of Waukegan, was arrested Sept. 20 in the 41400 block of North Route 41 in Wadsworth and charged with aggravated domestic battery/strangulation.

He was detained in the Lake County Jail and given a Sept. 22 court date.

DUI

Ermuun Uvgunkhuu, 25, of Northbrook, was arrested Sept. 15 near Route 41 and Wadsworth Road in Wadsworth and charged with DUI-alcohol, no insurance and driving while license suspended.

He was released pretrial and given a Sept. 30 court date.

Stephen T. Jones, 29, of Waukegan, was arrested Sept. 16 near Green Bay Road and Greenwood Avenue in Waukegan and charged with DUI-alcohol. He was released pretrial and given an Oct. 28 court date.

Failure To Register As A Sex Offender

Rene Garza, 46, of unincorporated Deerfield, was the subject of a warrant obtained Sept. 17 in the 21400 block of Milwaukee Avenue on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender.

Brandon D. Lopez, 41, with no permanent address, was arrested Sept. 17 in the 300 block of Washington Street in Waukegan on a warrant charging failure to register as a sex offender. He was released pretrial and given a Sept. 29 court date.

Domestic Battery

David Gross, 62, of unincorporated Barrington, was arrested Sept. 14 in the 26200 block of North Geraldine Lane and charged with domestic battery. He was released pretrial and given an Oct. 14 court date.

Daniel S. Goodson, 70, of unincorporated Grayslake, was arrested Sept. 18 in the 33600 block of North Oakland Drive on a warrant charging domestic battery. He was released pretrial and given a Sept. 23 court date.

Burglary Warrant

Emma J. Murphy, 32, of Country Club Hills, was arrested Sept. 14 in the 300 block of Washington Street in Waukegan on a burglary warrant. She was released pretrial and given a Nov. 16 court date.

Escape Warrant

Roxanne L. Harrah, 40, of Fox Lake, was the subject of an escape warrant obtained Sept. 14 in the 24600 block of North Milwaukee Avenue in unincorporated Vernon Hills.

Sexual Offender Registry Violation

Antonio S. Glenn, 32, with no permanent address, was arrested Sept. 15 in the 200 block of Water Street in Waukegan on a warrant charging a sexual offender registry violation.

He was detained in the Lake County Jail and given an Oct. 13 court date.

Disorderly Conduct

Denise B. Kovacs, 47, of Chicago, was arrested Sept. 15 in the 13300 block of Ashford Drive in Green Oaks and charged with disorderly conduct. She was released pretrial and given an Oct. 12 court date.

Criminal Trespass To Vehicle

Justin T. Molina, 20, of Kansasville, Wisconsin, was arrested Sept. 18 in the 25100 block of West Claridan Avenue in unincorporated Antioch and charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle and driving while license suspended.

He was detained in the Lake County Jail and given a Sept. 21 court date.

Watercraft Charges

Joseph Cvitkovic, 63, of Fox Lake, was the subject of a warrant obtained Sept. 18 on Nippersink Lake charging careless operation of a watercraft and obstructing identification.

Battery

Connor K. McClellan, 29, of Vernon Hills, was arrested Sept. 19 in the 32200 block of Route 12 in Volo and charged with battery. He was released pretrial and given an Oct. 14 court date.
