Lake County Sheriff’s Blotter: Child Endangerment DUI, Violent Offender Charge

Recent arrests reported by the Lake County Sheriff's Office include aggravated assault, child endangerment and violent offender registration

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office weekly arrest bulletin. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon

  • Nikkola A. Sandberg, 26, of Fox River Grove, was charged May 18 in North Barrington with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct. Sandberg was released pending a July 1 court appearance.

Domestic Battery

  • Brian J. Miller, 41, of unincorporated Lake Villa, was arrested May 19 on a warrant alleging domestic battery in the 37200 block of North Hillside Drive in unincorporated Lake Villa. Miller was detained in the Lake County Jail pending a May 27 court appearance.

Aggravated DUI

  • Volodymyr Koziy, 55, of Buffalo Grove, was arrested May 20 on a warrant alleging aggravated DUI near Dering Lane and Cedar Crest Lane in unincorporated Lake Villa. Koziy was detained in the Lake County Jail pending a May 27 court appearance.

Failure To Register As A Violent Offender

  • Jordan D. Gantar, 46, of unincorporated Waukegan, was charged May 21 with failure to register as a violent offender in Waukegan. Gantar was released pending a June 23 court appearance.

Controlled Substance Charge

  • Terry T. Bennett, 59, of Racine, Wisconsin, was arrested May 21 in Beach Park on a warrant alleging unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Bennett was released pending a July 9 court appearance.

DUI-Alcohol

  • Nicholas J. Rudden, 21, of Tower Lakes, was charged May 21 with DUI-alcohol near Gilmer and Fremont Center roads in unincorporated Mundelein. Rudden was released pending a July 15 court appearance.
  • Kwantis R. Taylor, 50, of Zion, was charged May 23 in Beach Park with DUI-alcohol, driving while license revoked and no insurance. Taylor was released pending a June 24 court appearance.

Aggravated Battery To A Correctional Officer

  • Dennis R. Ramage, 34, of Chester, was charged May 22 with aggravated battery to a correctional officer at the Lake County Jail. Ramage was being held on other charges pending a May 26 court appearance.

DUI With Child Endangerment

  • Brandon Toatley, 41, of unincorporated Grayslake, was charged May 24 with DUI-alcohol and child endangerment near Mill Road and Twin Lakes Boulevard in unincorporated Grayslake. Toatley was released pending a July 8 court appearance.

Boating Under The Influence

  • Robert A. Pfeiffer, 39, of Joliet, was charged May 24 in Fox Lake with operating a watercraft under the influence of alcohol. Pfeiffer was released pending a July 8 court appearance.
