Active Senior Expo To Be Held August 5 in Darien
Local seniors invited to explore the latest products, services and educational seminars
LOMBARD, Illinois – July 28, 2026 – The Active Senior Expo, an event dedicated to informing, educating, and entertaining senior citizens, will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the Darien Sportsplex, 451 Plainfield Road, Darien, Illinois. The expo runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Active Senior Expo showcases hundreds of products and services for seniors. Exhibitors represent health care, retirement communities, assisted living, financial and insurance services, legal and estate planning, home care, consumer products, government programs, and more.
Special attractions include free seminars on “Understanding Medicare” at 10 a.m., presented by Ma3 Insurance Group, Inc.; “Saving Money and Energy” at 11 a.m., presented by the Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Program; and “Tips to Prevent Consumer Fraud” at noon, presented by the Illinois Attorney General. The show also features free health screenings, door prize drawings and live music at 11:30 a.m.
No registration is required, and regular admission to the event is $2. Free admission coupons are widely available at local retailers, and attendees can also download a discount coupon here.
Visitors traveling from the east should use the 75th Street entrance, while those arriving from the west should use the Plainfield Road entrance. Free on-site parking is available.
