• 3 charged after reported home invasion, shots fired in unincorporated St. Clair Co. (bnd.com) — East St. Louis residents should know that local police K-9 units helped St. Clair County deputies and Dupo officers track down three men now charged after an alleged home invasion and gunfire in unincorporated Dupo. No injuries were reported, but one man is accused of firing a shot during the confrontation. Authorities also remind anyone facing domestic violence that confidential help is available through the Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois.
