Elgin man to serve 65 years in prison for murdering pregnant wife (chicagotribune.com) — An Elgin man has been sentenced to 65 years in prison for fatally stabbing his pregnant estranged wife in 2024, a crime that drew an extensive response from Elgin police and Kane County prosecutors.
