ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation raised more than $600,000 at its 22nd Annual Autumn Affair on Sept. 16 at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, marking record-breaking revenue for the annual fundraiser, according to a hospital news release.

More than 370 tickets were sold for the Centennial gala, up 16 percent from last year, according to the foundation. The event is the foundation's signature fundraising effort and this year also served as the official launch of the Centennial Year celebration for Endeavor Health Elmhurst Hospital.

Proceeds from the event will support the foundation's Centennial Campaign and campus expansion projects, according to the news release. The work is intended to maximize existing real estate and modernize high-volume patient areas at the hospital.

Among the upgrades the campaign will support are new operating rooms, 14 additional private oncology infusion bays, expanded cardiovascular exam space, and new labor and delivery suites. The hospital said those projects are part of a broader effort tied to the next phase of care in Elmhurst.

"This record-breaking support does more than just fund new buildings; it directly translates into our ability to provide world-class care and gives us the momentum we need to build a healthier future for the next 100 years," Elmhurst Hospital president Kimberley Darey said in the news release.
