Man Flees From Cops In Elmhurst Neighborhood
The man crashed as another police agency pursued him, authorities said.
ELMHURST, IL – A man fled from officers Thursday night in an Elmhurst neighborhood after crashing a car, local police said.
Shortly after 8 p.m., an outside police agency pursued a suspected stolen car into Elmhurst, with the driver crashing at Butterfield Road and Commonwealth Lane, police said.
A suspect ran east and was last seen along Salt Creek between Commonwealth and Spring Road, police said.

Officers deployed drones and K-9s in the search.
By late Thursday night, police said the man remained at large. They encouraged residents in the Eldridge Park area to call 911 if they saw suspicious activity.
