Cops Identify Man Who Died In I-290 Blast
The expressway was closed for hours as a result of the explosion.
ELMHURST, IL – Authorities have identified the man who died last week in an explosion on Interstate 290.
The man was Jorge Vaca, 47, of Cicero, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
The incident occurred about 10 a.m. Thursday near Mannheim Road. Police closed the expressway for hours as a bomb squad investigated. A car's windows were seen blown out.

The FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have taken part in the investigation.
Authorities have said they found no evidence that the incident was connected to any other events or people.
