• Dress Up '90s-Style At Mom Prom In Elmhurst (patch.com) — Elmhurst residents are invited to join a 90s-themed Mom Prom fundraiser created by local woman Dawn Pintsak to honor her late mother and support blood cancer research. The Oct. 3 event in nearby Maywood will feature music, dancing and decade-inspired outfits, with proceeds benefiting Blood Cancer United. Pintsak's family will also participate in the Western Suburban Light The Night walk later in October.
