• McHenry home damage in garage fire (shawlocal.com) — Fox Lake firefighters were among several area departments called in to help contain a Thursday morning garage fire at a single-family home near McHenry. Crews quickly kept the blaze to the garage, left only minor smoke damage inside, and ensured residents could safely return home with no injuries reported.
