• One dead, four injured, including infant, in 3-vehicle crash with semi truck near Genoa (shawlocal.com) — A fatal three-vehicle crash at Route 23 and Melms Road in Genoa Township Wednesday killed one person and injured four others, including a 1‑year‑old child. Deputies say a westbound Mazda allegedly failed to yield to a northbound gravel semi, sparking a collision that also struck a southbound Nissan. Multiple fire and police agencies from Genoa and nearby towns responded, and the investigation continues.
