• 3 Carroll County deputies among 19 officers honored in Illinois for heroism (shawlocal.com) — Glendale Heights residents can be proud that their local police department was among agencies honored statewide for exceptional bravery in 2025. Nineteen officers, including three Carroll County deputies and members of the Glendale Heights Police Department, received the Illinois Law Enforcement Medal of Honor from Gov. JB Pritzker for heroic actions that protected communities across the state.
