Glen Ellyn Seniors Thank Local Heroes

Churchill Place residents expressed their gratitude to first responders by gifting care packages to local police.

Residents of Churchill Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, expressed their heartfelt appreciation for local law enforcement by delivering 30 care packages to the officers of the Glen Ellyn Police Department in celebration of Law Enforcement Day. Each survival kit was thoughtfully assembled by the seniors and included snacks and handwritten notes offering encouragement and gratitude to the department's dedicated officers.

“The event fostered meaningful connections, as residents and officers shared smiles, stories and a strong sense of community,” said Ismael Lagunes, life engagement director for Churchill Place. “It was a day filled with joy and gratitude.”
