• Pedestrian Underpass Near Glenbrook South Among Projects Glenview Eyes For State Funding (patch.com) — Glenview officials are weighing grant applications for a Pfingsten Road pedestrian underpass linking Glenbrook South High School with the planned park at the former Signode site, plus a wider multi-use path along Glenview Road. The Village Board will also consider appointing a new Fire and Police commissioner and a liquor license request for Hakata Ramen House, alongside plans to expand Wesley Child Care.
   

• Glenview Police Get Emergency Access To District 34 School Cameras Under New Agreement (patch.com) — Glenview's new agreement between District 34 and village police keeps officers' emergency access to school security cameras while tightening rules on how school resource officers can discipline students. Two Glenview SROs will remain in the middle schools, but they're now barred from issuing tickets for most on-campus misbehavior, leaving routine discipline to school officials while preserving police authority for real safety threats.
