• Sara Wiesemeyer (riverbender.com) — Highland friends and neighbors are saying goodbye to Sara “Sadie” Wiesemeyer, a longtime beautician and former Basler Electric employee whose visitation and funeral will be held April 21 at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland. Born in Smithboro and active across the region, she once ran Sadie’s Beauty Salon in Highland and leaves behind children, grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
