• Victim rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being found in garage fire in Lincolnshire (lakemchenryscanner.com) — Firefighters from Highland Park joined several neighboring departments to battle a serious garage fire in Lincolnshire Wednesday afternoon, where an adult was found badly injured and rushed to Advocate Condell Medical Center. The blaze was quickly contained to the garage, leaving the home habitable, while state and local investigators now work to determine what sparked the fire.
