• Highland Park Presses Union Pacific Over Excessive Train Horn Noise (patch.com) — Highland Park officials are pressing Union Pacific to curb excessive train horn noise that has been disturbing nearby neighborhoods day and night. After the city issued a formal cease-and-desist notice and demanded vegetation clearing near crossings, Union Pacific reported completing key work orders, while residents are encouraged to report ongoing concerns directly.
