Bravo & Netflix Stars Join Hinsdale Leaders for “Giving Is Rock” Gala Supporting $700K in Community

The Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club (HJWC) will host its highly anticipated “Giving Is Rock – Fund the Grants Gala” on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Compass Arena in Willowbrook. The event will bring together celebrity guests, community leaders, and philanthropists for an evening dedicated to raising funds for local nonprofits serving women, children, and families.
This year’s gala will feature special appearances by Nia Booko of Bravo’s The Valley and Theresa DeMaria of Netflix’s The Age of Attraction, alongside Greg Hart, Hinsdale Village President, and Nikolina Vujcic, Miss Illinois USA 2025.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, HJWC is committed to strengthening communities through volunteerism and philanthropy. In 2026 alone, the organization has received over $700,000 in grant requests, reflecting a growing need for funding essential resources such as educational technology, safe housing items, and family support services across the Chicagoland area.
Designed around a Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame-inspired theme, the evening will include live entertainment, immersive brand activations, a curated silent auction, and an exclusive VIP pre-party from 6:00–7:00PM for sponsors, community leaders, and special guests.
“This event is where community, leadership, and impact come together,” said Christine Gebauer, President of HJWC. “Every dollar raised goes directly back into organizations that are doing critical, life-changing work across our communities.”
Proceeds from the gala will directly support HJWC’s annual grant program, funding tangible needs such as classroom technology, bedding and essentials for families, and improvements to community spaces.
Tickets, tables, and sponsorship opportunities are available by texting FUNDTHEGRANTS to 76278 or visiting www.hjwc.us.
