• Homer Glen suspends use of Flock cameras amid misuse allegations (chicagotribune.com) — Homer Glen has temporarily shut down its Flock license plate reader cameras and halted further installations while the Will County Sheriff's Office investigates alleged misuse of the system by a deputy. Village leaders say they want stronger safeguards before resuming use, noting residents have already voiced privacy concerns and previously opposed the cameras in an advisory referendum.
