• Fox River between McHenry, Algonquin gets no-wake designation after heavy rainfall (shawlocal.com) — Heavy rains have turned the lower Fox River between the McHenry and Algonquin dams into a no-wake zone, and Huntley has seen more than 2.5 inches of rain. While the river isn't expected to reach flood stage locally, officials warn that high water and debris still pose risks, urging caution near riverbanks and on flooded roads.
