• Carrollton woman gets 8 years after guilty plea to meth possession (bnd.com) — A Carrollton woman has been sentenced in Jersey County Circuit Court to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to a reduced meth possession charge, with a more serious trafficking count dropped. Her sentence, issued under a Jerseyville dateline, will run alongside earlier prison terms from Greene County convictions related to meth delivery and a look‑alike substance.
