Summary: "Under the direction of the Special Events Manager and Director of Cultural Affairs & Special Events, the Special Events Operations Assistant provides operational, logistical, facility, and event support for City-sponsored festivals, events, theater productions and programs, cultural programming, and public spaces. The position assists with the setup, operation, and breakdown of events and programs at City Square, Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park & Theatre, and other City event locations. Responsibilities include preparing and transporting event equipment and supplies, organizing and maintaining event equipment, assisting vendors and performers, providing customer service to event participants and the public, and supporting City staff with event-day operations."
