Man Threatened Bel-Air Motel Staff, Claiming He Had Handgun: Joliet Police
Kevin Crosby, age 37, has been charged with aggravated robbery and burglary. He is no stranger to the Joliet Police force.

JOLIET, IL —The Will County State's Attorney's Office has filed two charges against 37-year-old Kevin Crosby, a transient person from Joliet. Crosby has been in the Will County Jail a number of times in the past. Now, Joliet police are out looking for him in connection with allegations that he committed a robbery last weekend.
According to the criminal complaint, Crosby is charged with aggravated robbery and burglary. The court documents indicate that Crosby stole money from the staff who operate the Bel-Air Motel at 1103 Plainfield Road. Charges indicate that Crosby announced that he was armed with a gun at the time he demanded the Bel-Air Motel's cash. The incident happened last Saturday.
On Wednesday, Will County Judge Amy Christiansen issued a warrant for Crosby's arrest by Joliet police. The warrant indicates that Crosby is in fact homeless.
