ICE In Joliet: 'Abduction Outside Will County Courthouse,' Rapid Response Team Says It Witnessed The Event

JOLIET, IL — The Warehouse Workers for Justice in Joliet announced that its rapid response team has witnessed a Monday morning abduction orchestrated by ICE agents in the community take place outside the Will County Courthouse. It happened at 10:56 a.m. on Jefferson Street.

The social justice organization said that various sports utility vehicles, including a blue Ford Edge, a black Ford Escape and a gray Chevy Tahoe, were all driven by the ICE agents in plain clothes and green vests. They are still in the area, the Warehouse Workers for Justice advised everyone.

"We are encouraging extra caution in this area. Reach out to the Family Support Hotline to report any suspicious activity you see at 855-435-7683," the social justice organization reminded everyone.
