Joliet Police: Domestic Disturbance, Joliet Teenager Shoves Pregnant Woman During Heated Argument

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department announced that 19-year-old Andrew Anguiano has been booked into the Will County Jail following a domestic disturbance on Sunday night on the southeast side of town.

According to police spokesman Dwayne English, at 8:23 p.m., the officers on patrol around Eastern Avenue and Fifth Avenue saw a disturbance involving several people in the roadway. A woman had gone to a nearby residence to retrieve belongings belonging to her child from the child’s father, identified as Andrew Anguiano.

English announced that during the visit, an argument started, and Anguiano is alleged to have shoved the female, who is pregnant.

Anguiano was processed at the Joliet Police Department and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
