James loved spending time with the people who meant the most to him. He shared 35 beautiful years with the love of his life, Sally, by his side. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, memories, and family. He was a proud and devoted father and grandfather who cherished every moment with his children and grandchildren. Some of his favorite moments were spent at the pool, surrounded by his family, laughing, talking, and watching the kids and grandkids enjoy themselves.

A lifelong Chicago sports fan, James could often be found cheering on the Cubs and Bears. He loved escaping to his campground, where he could fish, relax, enjoy a few laughs, and spend time with his many friends. Whether he was casting a fishing line, watching his favorite Chicago team, sitting around the campground with friends, or simply surrounded by his family, he was happiest when he was making memories with the people he loved. Those memories, his loud laughter, and the love he gave so freely will be carried in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
