Prosecutors detailed multiple recent trespass and disturbance calls at the same Joliet address, while the judge ordered him to stay away from the property and family members ahead of a September court date.

Hollywood Casino Joliet Adds 4 More Music Acts, Performers For 2026 Schedule (patch.com) — Joliet entertainment fans can look forward to a busy late-2026 schedule at Hollywood Casino Joliet, which has added four new shows ranging from an ABBA tribute to country star Josh Turner. The lineup also includes comedian Nimesh Patel and Motown icons The Temptations, with tickets available online for the casino's local event center.
   

4. 3 Female Victims During Home Invasion On Hammes Ave. Lead To SAFE-T Act Detention: Prosecutors Reveal (patch.com) — Joliet residents are learning more about a violent overnight home invasion on South Hammes Avenue, where three women say they were attacked after a man allegedly climbed through their window. Police, paramedics, and hospital staff in Joliet all played roles in the response, and a Will County judge has now ordered the accused to remain jailed under the SAFE-T Act while the case proceeds.
   

5. Joliet Job Corps back in business after Trump administration agrees to stop closure (shawlocal.com) — Joliet's Job Corps Center on Mills Road is enrolling students again after a federal settlement reversed plans to shut down contractor-run centers nationwide. The long-running program offers free education, GED preparation, and career training for 16- to 24-year-olds, serving many young people from Joliet and surrounding northern and central Illinois communities.
