Court documents outline prior complaints, repeated police calls, and the ongoing order of protection involving residents who say the behavior has continued since 2025.

Joliet Drug Dealing Defendant Also Distributed Ketamine, Will County Prosecutors Outline In Complaint (patch.com) — Joliet readers may want to know that local resident Daniel Stern faces multiple felony charges after a Joliet Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad investigation led to his arrest and jailing. Prosecutors allege he intended to distribute large quantities of cocaine, marijuana, Ecstasy and ketamine, and he is due in Will County Courthouse for a first appearance that could determine whether he remains in custody.

Fight Breaks Out, Punches Thrown As Man, Woman Arrested Inside Will County Courthouse: Police (patch.com) — Security at the Will County Courthouse in Joliet was tested Wednesday when a fight outside Courtroom 301 led to battery charges against two Crest Hill and Braidwood residents, and a separate eighth-floor struggle injured two court security officers. Joliet police helped subdue a defendant who allegedly fought officers during a remand arrest and now faces aggravated battery to a peace officer charges.

Gang Suppression Unit Captures Deamontae Hunter Near Forest Park School In Joliet: Sheriff's Office (patch.com) — Residents near Forest Park School in Joliet woke up to a major gang suppression operation as Will County deputies executed a pre-dawn drug search warrant on California Avenue. Deputies say they found 29-year-old Deamontae Hunter alone in a locked bedroom with crack cocaine and a loaded gun, leading to multiple felony charges, while another man was also arrested on drug charges.
