Person Shot In Crest Hill: Authorities

CREST HILL, IL — A person was in critical condition after being shot in Crest Hill, authorities said Sunday morning.

The Crest Hill Police Department responded to the 1700 block of North Raynor Avenue following a report of a person who had been shot, according to a social media post from the city published around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

The victim was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center and was listed in critical condition, authorities said. The investigation remained active and ongoing Sunday morning, according to the city, which added that more information would be released as it became available.
